1. What will you find on this site ?
Pixibank is an image library which proposes a choice of royalty-free pictures, that you can download.

2. What does "royalty-free" means ?
Royalty-free does not entitle you to use them as you wish. This often means that you need to inform the beneficiaries or to purchase the rights of use from the photographer. However, on Pixibank, the photographs are completely free, within the limits of the terms of use.

3. Why is it free ?
Because we militate for a free Internet. It's a state of mind. However, we restrict the conditions of use of the photographs because we cannot work instead of the others. All that we ask, it's that you credit Pixibank on the document where will appear the photograph or that you place a link to our site on yours.

4. How can I use my pictures ?
You will always need to comply with the law when using these pictures. They cannot be used on prohibited sites or in illegal publications. They can only be selected for a personal (personal web site, school project, greeting cards…..) or a professional (magazines, corporate reports, CD-rom, DVD...) use. > see the terms of use

5. What will I download ?
The gallery displays full-size pictures in your browser, so that you can save them on your hard drive.
You will need to save your pictures as jpg files. The resolution of most pictures is 72 dpi (dots per inch), size 800x600.

6. How can I save the picture on the hard drive ?
If you have a PC, you only need to position your mouse on the picture, right click and choose "save as...". Choose a file in your drive, then click on "save".
If you have a Mac, click on the photo, hold the button pressed for one second, then choose "save as...".

7. How can I find a specific picture ?
Make a search using the free search box, by entering a key word.

8. How can you display the pictures without proceeding to a full search ?
To discover our album, choose a category in the drop-down list.

9. Are the pictures available on other sites ?
All the pictures on this site are the property of Pixibank. However, a few of them are also available in photo agencies on the web (but not free !).

10. I made a search but the page does not appear ?
If you have a blank page, this may be because the transaction is being processed. Be patient, the time spent depends on your type of connection. You can also reload the page with your navigator.
